HorseHage, the leading supplier of dust-free forage for horses, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the England Endurance Team as the Official Forage Provider.
Endurance riding is a demanding sport that requires both horse and rider to be in peak physical condition. Providing the right nutrition is crucial to ensure that horses can perform to the best of their ability. HorseHage offers a range of high-quality, low-sugar, dust-free forage options that are NOPS certified, which are perfect for endurance horses.
“We are delighted to have HorseHage on board as our Official Forage Provider” said Bella Fricker, Chef D’Equipe of the England team. “Their products are of the highest quality, and we know that our horses will benefit greatly from them.”
HorseHage will provide the England squad with a range of products, including the popular High Fibre and Timothy HorseHage options. 100% natural and never rebagged, these options are dust-free and easily digestible, allowing more efficient utilisation of the available nutrients.
“We are honoured to be chosen as the Official Forage Provider for the England Endurance Riding Team,” said Mark Westaway of HorseHage. “We understand the importance of providing the right nutrition to horses, and we are confident that our products will help the team to achieve their goals”.
Teams from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland are to contest the 2023 Home International Endurance Championship at the iconic British Horse Feeds & Golden Paste Company Red Dragon Festival of Endurance, held at the Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells 29th September – 1st October. The event is expected to attract riders from around the four countries with more than 600 horses taking part over the four days.
The Home International is run on an annual basis and is hosted on rotation by each of the four countries. Scottish Endurance Riding Club (SERC) presented a trophy in 1989 to be awarded annually to the winning country. The aim of the competition is to encourage riders at all levels and develop team spirit by giving an experience of international team competition. Each country will be represented by one team of twelve riders plus two reserve riders.
